Mission Statement

Our mission goal is owner and dog freedom through enlightened, empowering, humane training which results in a wonderful companion of any size that can be trusted off leash anywhere.

The doghouse does not use of any aversives in our training at any time and we believe that the use of choke chains, pinch collars, and shock collars is unfair and unnecessary to use to teach any dog we are training. The choices we reserve to train or to aid in behavoir mod our clients dogs with would involve the use of some or all of the following equipment and food and approach:

Crate

Anchor spot

Empathy

ALOT of frozen bones

Nylon collar or halti

6 foot leash

Training treats mostly rollover but we also use a small range of "jackpot" treats

Treat pouches

Tugtoys

Balls or other retrieve toys

Social exposure to different dogs of different sizes

All meals are raw diet
